About

Horror Games to Play is a guide to horror games on every platform: games you play in your browser, and the horror games worth knowing on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, phones and VR.

Every game has its own page that says what you do in it, what is frightening about it, how to play, where to get it and which games are like it. Browser games whose makers let other sites show them are played right on their page; every other game links to its own store or site.

A game is here because it is a horror game players rate well or know, and because it works: it loads, and it is still sold or playable. Pages say what a game contains (jumpscares, gore, flashing lights) so you can choose. Games that stop working leave the lists.

Who runs it

Horror Games to Play is built and run by Moltke Benjaminsen Alpha, a self-funded reverse incubator that releases products early and keeps the ones people come back to. The company behind it is Moltke Benjaminsen ApS (CVR 45555399, Denmark). It is not part of any game, store or publisher on the site.
