About The Casting of Frank Stone
The Casting of Frank Stone is an interactive horror drama from Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn, The Quarry and The Dark Pictures Anthology, published by Behaviour Interactive in September 2024. It is set in the world of Dead by Daylight, Behaviour's multiplayer horror game, and gives a wider look at that world.
The shadow of Frank Stone hangs over Cedar Hills, a town changed by his violent past. In the depths of an Oregon steel mill, his gruesome crimes spawned horrors beyond comprehension, and an original cast of characters is drawn together into a mystery where nothing is quite as it seems.
As in Supermassive's other games, you control several characters in turn and every decision shapes the story and the fate of the people in it, so a simple choice can turn into a hard dilemma. The Deluxe Edition adds The Cutting Room Floor, which lets you return to key decisions and change their outcome.
Reviews were mixed, but it is the natural next step for fans of Dead by Daylight or of Until Dawn and The Quarry who want a slasher story driven by choices.
