What frightens Something walks the snowy forest around a remote town, taking what it considers its due: voices call children into the trees, faces look in through windows, strange prints appear in the snow, and the missing-child posters keep multiplying.

Content: strong language, physical violence, psychological violence.

Tiny Bunny is a branching horror visual novel drawn in black and white. You play Anton, a boy who has just moved to a small town ringed by forest, as children start to disappear and the forest starts to call. Your choices open different paths through the story and lead to one of 20 endings.

About Tiny Bunny

Tiny Bunny is a horror visual novel by Saikono and Sokar, inspired by Dmitry Mordas's short story of the same name. Its full release on Steam is dated 5 December 2025, and it runs on Windows and Mac.

You play as Anton, a young boy whose family has moved to a remote town surrounded by forest. Winter has come, and something is out among the black trees. Rumours spread through the town: voices calling from the thicket, faces at the windows, prints in the snow, and more and more posters for missing children. Anton is drawn into the mystery as the danger grows.

Most of the game is reading: narration and dialogue run along the bottom of hand-drawn, black-and-white scenes, with an original soundtrack under them. At key moments you choose what Anton says or does, sometimes by picking an object or action in the scene itself, such as running away or picking up a lost mitten in the snow. The plot branches on those choices, and the store counts 20 distinct endings.

The fear here is slow and cold rather than loud: a child's view of a village where the adults explain too little, folklore that may be true, and a question the store puts plainly, whether to stay alive or to stay human. The makers warn of offensive language and scenes of physical and psychological violence.

It suits readers who liked Scarlet Hollow or Higurashi and want a rural, wintry setting with Eastern European folk horror instead of a Japanese village.

How to play Tiny Bunny

  1. Start a new game and read the opening as Anton arrives in the forest town.

  3. When a choice appears, pick what Anton says or does, including actions shown in the scene itself.
  4. Use the icons along the bottom of the screen to step back through the text, speed it up or open the menu.
  5. Play again and choose differently to open other paths and reach more of the 20 endings.

Tips

  • On a later run, try the opposite of a choice you made; the plot branches and the store counts 20 endings.
  • Small choices about who Anton trusts and helps can matter later, so think about them before you click.
  • Play with headphones; much of the atmosphere comes from the soundtrack and sound.
  • Learn the icons along the bottom of the screen early; they let you step back and move quickly through text.
