What frightens There is something in your bathroom, or there will be very soon, and no matter what you do you must not let it out. You have tried to get rid of it, no one else in the house knows, and the clock keeps ticking as you look around in murky green pixel art at mirrors, pictures and a smiling blonde figure, toward body horror and three endings.

Content: body horror, yelling, graphic depictions of self-harm, implied dissociation.

Don't Let It Out is a short, free RPG Maker horror game by SmileStrawbunny, made in less than a week. Something is in your bathroom, no one else in the house knows, and you must not let it out, in 10 to 30 minutes with three endings.

About Don't Let It Out

Don't Let It Out was made by SmileStrawbunny in less than a week in RPG Maker, with its own art and story. It plays in the browser on itch.io or as a Windows download, with an art book in a second download, and it is name your own price. Its main character is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.

The opening text says it plainly: it is coming back. There is something in your bathroom, or there will be very soon. You tried to get rid of it, but there is no use, and no one else in the house seems to know about it but you.

You look around in first-person views drawn in murky greens and blues, turning with arrows on the sides of the screen while a clock in the corner counts the time. Pictures on the walls change, words appear on them, and a pale smiling figure with long blonde hair waits behind glass. The maker warns of body horror, yelling, graphic depictions of self-harm and implied dissociation.

It takes 10 to 30 minutes and has three endings. It suits players who like short, unsettling psychological horror that leaves its meaning to you.
