BLOODMONEY is a short psychological horror game by SHROOMYCHRIST, released on itch.io on 2 August 2025 as a free, name-your-own-price download for Windows. It is played entirely with the mouse.

It opens with a medical bill: your condition is serious, and the only treatment is an operation costing 25,000 dollars. Then, on the side of the road, you meet Harvey Harvington, a cheerful man with a pink quiff and a bow tie in a stall that reads one click equals one dollar.

You click Harvey to earn money and spend it in the shop. A feather is harmless, but the needle, hammer, scissors and the rest each pay more per click because they hurt him. The counter climbs toward your goal while the bright pastel art shows his bruises, blood and tears and his friendly sales talk turns to pleading.

That is the game's horror: not a monster, but a choice you keep making, one click at a time, with a sweet look that makes it worse. Its maker lists three endings and warns of flashing lights, so it is not for photosensitive players.

A full remake with a new campaign, BLOODMONEY: Requiem, was released as a separate paid game on Steam in 2026. The original remains on itch.io and suits anyone who wants a short, uncomfortable game about how far they would go.

1. Download it from its itch.io page for Windows; it is free, or name your own price.
2. Read the opening and the medical bill that sets your goal of 25,000 dollars.
3. Click Harvey to earn a dollar per click.
4. Open the shop to buy tools that pay more per click, and decide which you are willing to use.
5. Reach the goal, see where your choices lead, and replay for the other endings.

Tips

• The endings depend on how you raise the money, so pay attention to what you buy.
• Listen to what Harvey says as you go; it tells you a lot about the path you are on.
• Do not play if you are photosensitive; its maker warns of flashing lights.
