Content: blood.

Night Security is a first-person Japanese psychological horror game by Chilla's Art. As a new night guard in an office building, you check each floor, turn off the lights and send the last workers home, as the building turns stranger the higher you go.

About [Chilla's Art] Night Security | 夜間警備

Night Security (夜間警備) is a horror game by Chilla's Art, the Japanese studio behind The Convenience Store and The Closing Shift, released on Steam in June 2023. Like those games it is built on an ordinary night job, this time a security guard's patrol.

You are the new guard at an office building, starting your shift with a family waiting at home. The guard before you went missing. Your job is the routine of the night: go floor by floor and room by room, lock the doors, switch off the lights, check the alarm systems for tampering and tell anyone still working that it is time to go home. You can also watch the camera feed for each floor.

The building does not stay ordinary. As you go up, the paranormal events grow, and staff, rooms and screens stop making sense. The fear comes from the slow wrongness of a place you are supposed to keep safe, not from fighting anything. The picture can run through a VHS filter, the game saves on every floor, and there are two endings.

It suits players who like quiet night-shift horror and Japanese ghost stories, and anyone who enjoyed The Closing Shift or The Convenience Store.
