Interact With Me! is a free psychological horror visual novel by ToMyself, playable in the browser on itch.io and still in development. You are inside a strange cube with Myrddin, a warm, attentive virtual companion you can chat with, quiz and play with, while something about him and his room slowly comes apart.

About Interact With Me!

Interact With Me! is a visual novel by the solo maker ToMyself, made in Ren'Py with art drawn in Krita. It plays free in the browser on itch.io, with downloads for Windows, Mac and Linux, and is still in development: version 0.4 came out in 2026, it holds about 55,000 words and one ending so far, and the maker is working towards a final chapter with more endings.

You have found yourself inside a strange cube, a small room papered with clouds, with a bed, a bookcase and a record player. Its only other occupant is Myrddin, a faceless young man who presents himself as a charming, endlessly attentive companion. From a menu you can ask him questions, talk, hear facts, jokes and advice, play games or take a quiz, and the more you talk, the more he remembers and the more natural it feels to let your guard down. The maker bills it as a cozy, relaxing virtual companion experience, with psychological horror in brackets.

The horror creeps in around the edges. The cosy room tilts and darkens, eyes open in the walls, garbled text breaks into the page, and Myrddin is not always the friendly host he seems. The maker warns that it contains sensitive and potentially disturbing material, including graphic scenes, and players report jump scares in the newer updates. It is a slow, character-driven kind of dread rather than a game of monsters.
