About Morris❤️

Morris❤️ is a free horror visual novel by CatTrigger, the spiritual sequel to their earlier Melissa❤️, released on itch.io in December 2022 for the browser, Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. It is part of the same Date Time software series that CatTrigger is now rebuilding as a larger game.

The local library has upgraded its computer and installed a new game that everyone says is cute and romantic. It sets you up on a date with Morris, who acts cold and tough but loves the arts, dreams of being a poet and, the program promises, has a crush on you. The maker adds new characters, new areas, a bigger story than Melissa and a fully working dot-matrix printer for printing his poems.

Everything is shown on the green monochrome screen of an Apple II-era machine, and the cheerful dating-sim surface does not last. The green turns to red, a hand rises with a wrench, and the maker warns of body horror, implied violence, flickering lights and loud, sudden noises, alongside strong language and some comedy.
