What frightens Called in to install software alone in a new office tower at night, Belle is hunted through its floors by the Skinfreak, a rotting serial killer who keeps his victims' skin, in a gory 1980s-style slasher lit in giallo colours.

Content: gore, strong language.

Skinfreak is a low-poly first-person slasher game by Black Eyed Priest, published by Puppet Combo's Torture Star Video label. Belle is sent to work late in a lonely office building, and the city's most disturbing serial killer is already inside.

About Skinfreak

Skinfreak is a 2025 horror game from Black Eyed Priest, the studio behind Bloodwash and Sniper Killer, published by Torture Star Video, the label run by Puppet Combo. The makers describe it as a story-led B-movie inspired by 1980s slasher films with a dash of giallo.

Belle's boss calls her in late to install new software at the Baun Plaza, a brand-new office tower on the edge of town. The night starts with a taxi ride across the city, a prologue the makers built with its own driving, and continues in ordinary office work: make coffee, set up computers, read your co-workers' email. Then the Skinfreak, a skinless, rotting killer with a chainsaw and a collection of human skin, comes for her, and the job becomes a fight to get out alive.

It plays as a first-person adventure with a classic inventory: pick up, examine, drop and use items to solve the building's puzzles. A note system keeps track of what Belle needs to do instead of an objective list. The cast is fully voiced, the lighting turns from flat office white to deep giallo blues and greens, and there are two retro minigames to play on the office computers.

It suits players who liked the makers' Bloodwash or Puppet Combo's slashers and want a longer, more story-driven night with a lot of gore.

How to play Skinfreak

  1. Buy it on Steam and start it on Windows.
  2. Drive the taxi through the prologue, then arrive at the Baun Plaza for Belle's late shift.
  3. Explore the office floors, do the work you were called in for and read what you find.
  4. Use the inventory to pick up, examine and use items to get past the building's puzzles.
  5. Survive the Skinfreak and find a way out of the building.
