What frightens You wake in a strange mansion with no memory and only a Myers Corporation employee card, then dig through the decaying offices of a company ruined by a cyborg incident. Smiling staff who know more than they say, bloodied cyborg remains and jumpscares and flashing images keep the investigation tense.

Content: jumpscares, flashing images, gore.

A free horror adventure visual novel by dino999z with point-and-click puzzles. You wake with no memory in a mansion tied to Myers Corporation, five years after a cyborg incident sank the company, and investigate what it buried. Four of a planned six chapters are out, and development is on hold.

About Vincent: The Secret of Myers

Vincent: The Secret of Myers is a horror adventure visual novel by dino999z, the maker of Therapy with Dr. Albert Krueger. Its first chapter came out in 2019, and it is free on itch.io and Game Jolt for Windows, macOS and Linux, with a pay-what-you-want option.

Five years after the G4 Cyborg Incident, Myers Corporation is bankrupt and its G4 district is rotting. You wake inside a mysterious mansion with only a Myers employee card in your pocket, no idea who you are, and a cast of sharply dressed, smiling people who seem to know more than you. From there you look into the company and its decommissioned facility.

The game mixes reading and choosing dialogue with point-and-click scenes where you search rooms, use what you find and solve puzzles, from a desk with a Myers terminal to a calendar with a date circled in red. The flat, bold art in pinks and purples looks clean and stylish, which makes the bloodied cyborg remains and sudden scares hit harder.

The maker warns of jumpscares, flashing imagery and gore. The story is unfinished: Chapter 4 is the latest of six planned chapters, and the maker has put development on an indefinite hiatus while hoping to return.

It suits players who like character-driven horror visual novels with a mystery to solve and do not mind waiting on an ending. It can be played in English, Korean and Simplified Chinese.

Tips

  • Read notes, screens and calendars closely; the puzzle answers are often written into the scenery.
  • Save before dialogue decisions in case you want to see how another reply plays out.
  • The maker has posted walkthroughs for the early chapters on the devlog if a puzzle stops you, but they contain spoilers.
  • Download only from itch.io or Game Jolt; the maker warned that a paid copy put on Steam by another company was a scam.
