What frightens Sara Chidouin wakes trapped in a strange place with her friend Joe and nine others; in each life-and-death round they must agree, by majority vote, on who should die, and some rounds force them into deadly games.

Content: a lot of death and blood, heavy subject matter, violence.

Your Turn To Die -Death Game By Majority- is a multi-ending horror adventure by Nankidai. Schoolgirl Sara Chidouin wakes up trapped with her friend Joe and nine other people in a death game where the group must vote on who dies, and your choices decide who is left at the end.

About Your Turn To Die -Death Game By Majority-

Your Turn To Die -Death Game By Majority- (Kimi ga Shine) is a horror adventure by the Japanese artist Nankidai. It began as a free game released in parts from 2017, with an English translation by vgperson, and came to Steam in February 2023 in Early Access, published by 0UP GAMES. The story is not finished yet: the store says the Early Access version runs to the first part of chapter 3, with the second part to be added when it is done.

Sara Chidouin comes home from school late one night and finds something has gone terribly wrong. When she wakes, she and her friend Joe are trapped with nine other people in a mysterious place, and they are told to agree on what to do and who should die.

The game alternates between three things. You explore the facility, talk to the other captives and look for a way out. You discuss and vote, based on the role cards you are dealt, on who will be the next to die. And sometimes you are forced into deadly games as well. In debates you pick out the wrong or useful statements; the screen shows your Clout, which drops if you get things wrong.

The horror comes from the people around you as much as the place: every vote is a choice between lives, and the store warns of plenty of death and blood and heavy subject matter. It suits players who enjoy death-game stories built on deduction and argument, and who do not mind a story that is still being finished.
