Paper Bride 3 Unresolved Love is the third game in HeartBeat Plus's Chinese horror puzzle series, released on Steam in September 2022 and also on iPhone and Android. Its makers say they turned up the fear for this one after some players found the second game not frightening enough.

The story moves to Moshui, a village close to Zangling, and the small town of Fulu nearby. People there warn never to marry a woman from Zangling and never to go back, but a young man's visit home with his girlfriend shows that the shadow of the old rite has not gone away. A red palanquin swaying in a procession of white robes announces a paper bride's return.

You explore hand-painted scenes, collect items, read clues and solve puzzles to move from place to place, from a cluttered funeral shop and a shrine to a riverside at night.
