Antarctica 88 is a first-person horror game by Euphoria Games, the studio behind Death Park. It came to iPhone in June 2020, listed there under Anton Nazarov, and is also on Google Play as Antarctica 88: Survival Horror. It came to Steam in August 2020 for $5.99 and is sold for Xbox and Nintendo Switch as well.

The story takes place at the station Antarctica 1. For six months an expedition led by your father, Vladimir Efimov, drilled the ice and studied prehistoric minerals found in it, and six weeks ago it stopped answering. You are one of a four-man rescue squad sent to find out what happened. The station is dark and abandoned, with blood on the floors, and something that came out of the ice is waiting.

It plays as a first-person shooter with puzzles. You explore the station's labs, dormitories and the drilling rig, collect weapons and items, and fight several kinds of mutated monsters, some of them spider-like, with guns and a flamethrower; Steam warns that resources are limited, so you choose when to fight. The makers promise hardcore puzzles and item-based progress between the fights, and your decisions lead to one of several endings.

On phones it is free with ads and in-app purchases; on Steam, Xbox and Switch it is paid. It suits players who like The Thing's kind of fear, a remote station in the snow with a creature loose,, as a shooter that also runs on phones.
