What frightens In VR you physically crawl on your hands through a cramped, dark crawlspace beneath a house to fetch a girl's lost dolls, and the dolls do not want to be found: pale porcelain babies and a long-haired doll wait in the dirt and attack in different ways each night.
Content: jumpscares.
Crawlspace is a free VR horror game. You answer an ad for an odd job, fetching a man's daughter's missing dolls from the crawlspace under his house, and over five nights you crawl into the dark by hand to find out why nobody else would take it.
About Crawlspace
Crawlspace is a small free game made for VR by the developer Kiririn and released on Steam in 2021. It is built around one idea: you move by crawling, reaching out and pulling yourself forward with your own hands through a space too low to stand in.
You answered an ad for easy money: a man needs someone to retrieve his daughter's missing dolls. Each night you go down into the crawlspace beneath the house with a narrow light, find a doll and bring it back, then rest at your own home with the television on before the next night.
The fear comes from how close and trapped you feel. The beams press down on you, you can only see a small circle ahead, and each doll has its own way of coming at you, which you must learn to stay safe. The store warns that the game includes jump scares, and it uses them.
It is a short, free scare for VR owners, best for players who want a quick fright rather than a long story.

Tips
- Play standing or kneeling with room to move your arms.
- Watch the edges of your light; the dolls do not always come from straight ahead.
