What frightens Black, a hired gun, wakes in a mysterious old asylum with no memory, and an anonymous captor called Red makes him relive his past through a headset; between memories of trying to save a girl with a bomb strapped to her chest, he walks decaying wards of piled wheelchairs, messages scrawled in blood and a voice that never stops watching.

Content: violence, strong language, suicide attempt.

GET EVEN is a first-person psychological thriller with horror by The Farm 51. Black, a mercenary, wakes in an old asylum with no memory, and his captor Red makes him relive his past through a headset to find the truth about a girl with a bomb strapped to her chest.

About GET EVEN

GET EVEN was developed by The Farm 51 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment in 2017. Its music is by Olivier Deriviere.

Black, an ice-cold mercenary, wakes in a mysterious old asylum with no memory of his past. Under the guidance of his anonymous captor, Red, he begins a treatment built on a headset called Pandora that lets him relive his memories as if they were happening now. Black goes into the depths of his own mind to find the truth behind the only thing he remembers: trying to rescue a teenage girl with a bomb strapped to her chest.

The game moves between the asylum and the memories. The memories have investigation and gunfights, with a smartphone that scans, maps and lights the way. The asylum is where the horror lives: decaying rooms, wheelchairs stacked to the ceiling, messages scrawled in red and the sense that what you are shown cannot be trusted.

It is a thriller as much as a horror game, and suits players who like slow, unsettling mysteries of memory and guilt. The store warns of strong language, drug references and a brief attempted suicide in a cinematic sequence.
