Morfosi is a free top-down pixel-art stealth horror game by UniDot Studio. When his friend Jon goes into a mansion for help and does not return, Timothy goes in after him, sneaking past monsters with reactive AI and taking on their powers to solve puzzles. It takes about an hour.

About Morfosi

Morfosi was made by UniDot Studio and entered in the Student Games Festival 2020. It is free on itch.io for Windows and macOS, in English and Simplified Chinese, and plays with a keyboard or an Xbox controller. Its makers updated it to version 1.2.0 in September 2026.

Timothy and Jon took a shortcut their map promised and ended up in the middle of nowhere, beside a large mansion. Jon, the cheerful one, goes to ask for help. Timothy, quiet and anxious, waits, and when Jon does not come back he goes in after him, into what the makers call the pits of hell.

It plays from above in moody red and blue pixel art, with anime-style portraits in the dialogue. Bloodthirsty creatures walk the corridors and react to what you do, so you plan each move and wait for your moment, but not for too long, since staying hidden wears down your mind. As you go you gain powers taken from the very things hunting you, and the puzzles are built around that metamorphosis.

It suits players who like short stealth horror in the mould of the mansion games of RPG Maker, with a monster-transformation twist and an hour's length.
