TELEFORUM was made by Monumental Collab and released free on Steam and itch.io in October 2023, published by CRITICAL REFLEX. Its store calls it a found-footage-styled horror game exploring the unknown side of media.

Journalist Walter Martins ended his life during the broadcast of TELEFORUM, a now-canceled television program. You visit the apartment of his widow, Adriana, to console the grieving woman and shine some light on the story. But that is not the main reason you are there. It is all about the tape.

You play two roles. As the reporter you conduct the interview, choosing questions and balancing between finding answers and pushing her over the edge. As the cameraman you look around the apartment for what she is not telling you. Everything is seen through a VHS camera, with REC markings, warped colours, a station's warning about its property, and screens that do not show what they should.

The fear is slow and quiet, a growing sense that the recording itself is wrong. There are multiple endings to find. It suits players who like analog horror, found footage and The Ring-style cursed media, in a short, free evening.

How to play TELEFORUM

1. Download it free from Steam, or from itch.io where you can pay what you want.
2. As the reporter, pick your questions and replies in the interview with the widow.
3. As the cameraman, look around the apartment for clues about the tape.
4. Play it again to find the other endings.

Tips

• Push too hard in the interview and she may stop talking; weigh each question.
• Look closely at what the camera shows; the picture itself holds clues.
• Play with headphones in a dark room for the full effect of the tape.
