What frightens Riley, barely out of the library alive, explores an abandoned facility of the Hameln Corporation, the company behind the Amanda show; you play new tapes of the cheerful 90s CGI cartoon in dark offices and a room full of flickering monitors, while Amanda and her friends, including a grinning opossum with claws, keep talking to you through the screen.

Content: blood, mild language.

Amanda the Adventurer 3 is the last part of MANGLEDmaw Games' first-person horror puzzle trilogy. Picking up right after the second game, Riley explores an abandoned Hameln Corporation facility to learn the truth about Amanda, the company and the town of Kensdale. You watch new tapes of the old cartoon and solve escape-room puzzles with the clues they hide.

About Amanda the Adventurer 3

Amanda the Adventurer 3 was made by MANGLEDmaw Games and published by DreadXP. It came out on Steam in November 2025 and is also sold on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Its makers call it the final game of the trilogy.

The story starts immediately after Amanda the Adventurer 2. Riley Park, who first found the tapes in Aunt Kate's attic and then barely escaped the Kensdale Public Library with the help of a masked woman, now goes into an abandoned facility of the Hameln Corporation, the company tied to the making of the children's show, to find out what it was really for.

The makers describe it as a return to form that takes the best parts of the first two games. You explore the facility in first person: dark offices, a kitchen, a corridor of old machines, and a room lined with monitors and tape reels. You play new episodes of the 90s-style CGI cartoon, talk back to Amanda and her friends, and solve escape-room puzzles whose clues are hidden in the tapes.

The fear is the series' own: a bright, cheerful cartoon in a building that has been empty for years, characters on the screen who know you are there, and the slow uncovering of what the company did. It is a game for players who finished the first two; it is not the place to start.

How to play Amanda the Adventurer 3

  1. Buy it on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch; play the first two games first for the story.
  2. Explore the Hameln facility and find where the tapes are played.
  3. Watch each episode and answer Amanda and her friends when they speak to you.
  4. Search the offices and rooms for objects, notes and codes.
  5. Use the clues from the tapes to solve the escape-room puzzles that open the way deeper into the facility.
