What frightens You break into an amusement park that closed years ago after an incident nobody explains, and its cheerful cartoon raccoon guide Rambley talks to you from every screen while the dark, overgrown rides fall apart around you. Something from the park is still there: a huge mascot that hunts you down in a chase at the chapter's end, with the bright children's branding making its arrival worse.
Content: jumpscares, chase sequences, blood.
Indigo Park: Chapter 1 is a free, first-person mascot horror game. You explore an abandoned amusement park guided by Rambley the Raccoon, a cartoon host on the park's screens, restoring power and finding collectables until one of the park's mascots comes after you.
About Indigo Park: Chapter 1
Indigo Park: Chapter 1 is the free first chapter of a planned episodic horror series by the solo developer UniqueGeese, released on Steam in May 2024. Indigo Park was once one of the world's best known theme parks until it was shut down after a horrific incident. Years later you break in, looking for a place you remember from childhood.
You are not alone for long. Rambley the Raccoon, the park's tour guide, wakes up on the screens around you and takes it on himself to show you around. He is drawn in bright 2D animation and fully voiced, and his eager chatter fills the empty paths and rides. You follow his lead to restore power to sections of the park, solving light puzzles, opening gates and picking up collectables that tell the park's history.
The horror is in the contrast. Faded posters, broken animatronic sets and dark queues sit under cheerful music, and Rambley's guide-speak does not quite cover what happened here. The chapter builds to a chase by one of the park's mascots, a long, loud run through the attractions that reviewers single out as its high point.
It takes about an hour and is free, with more chapters planned as paid releases. It suits players who liked Poppy Playtime or Bendy and the Ink Machine and want mascot horror with more story and character than scares, and it is mild enough for those who are newer to horror.
