What frightens Everyone in Banban's Kindergarten vanished on an ordinary day; you explore the empty building with only a small drone for company, among the bright mascot murals of the Banban and Friends Gang, knowing you are not alone.

Garten of Banban is the free first chapter of Euphoric Brothers' first-person mascot horror series. Everyone at Banban's Kindergarten has vanished, and you explore it with a remote drone to find out why, while its cheerful mascots seem less friendly than their murals. Its Steam rating is Mixed.

About Garten of Banban

Garten of Banban is a first-person horror game by Euphoric Brothers, released free on Steam in January 2023. It is the first chapter of the Garten of Banban series, which later runs to Garten of Banban 8: Anti Devil, and it has since come to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iPhone and Android.

Banban's Kindergarten was once the place every parent wanted for their child, known for its mascots, the Banban and Friends Gang. Then, the store says, everybody inside vanished on a seemingly normal day. You go in to find out what happened.

You bring a small flying drone, which the store says helps you navigate and make your way through the facility, and keeps you company when you are scared. The rooms are bright classrooms and play areas painted with smiling mascots, and the store warns that you are far from alone.

The reviews are plain about it: Garten of Banban sits at Mixed on Steam, with just over half of more than 13,000 reviews positive. It is still one of the best-known mascot horror games and costs nothing, so it is an easy way to see what the series is about before buying the later chapters, which continue the story directly.

Tips

  • Read the murals and signs: the mascots' speech bubbles tell you who the characters are before you meet them.
  • Try the drone wherever you seem stuck, since the store names it as your way through the facility.
  • If you like it, Garten of Banban 2 picks up right after it.
