Amanda the Adventurer 2 is a first-person horror puzzle game by MANGLEDmaw Games and the sequel to Amanda the Adventurer. Riley Park takes the mystery of the Amanda tapes to the Kensdale Public Library, where a masked figure asks for help and Amanda, aware of Riley now, wants out of her cartoon. You watch the tapes, fetch what Amanda asks for and solve the library's puzzles.
About Amanda the Adventurer 2
Amanda the Adventurer 2 was made by MANGLEDmaw Games and published by DreadXP. It came out on Steam in October 2024 and is also sold on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It continues straight on from the first game.
After what Riley Park saw on the tapes in Aunt Kate's attic, Riley goes to the Kensdale Public Library to find out more. A masked figure is waiting there, says they knew Aunt Kate, and asks for help finding something she left in the library. They also warn of a powerful entity that seems drawn to the tapes. Amanda, meanwhile, knows Riley is there and is doing everything she can to free herself.
As before, you play episodes of the old cartoon on a TV with a VCR and talk back to Amanda and her friend Wooly. This time she can also send you off to find something in the room, and you can go and look, or refuse, and see how she reacts. The library is much bigger than the attic, with a children's corner, a front desk and shelves to search, and its puzzles use objects and clues spread around the building.
The fear is the same kind as in the first game: a bright, blocky late-1990s cartoon that turns hostile, a host who stares out of the screen and gets angry, and a dark, empty building around you. Players who finished the first game will want this one for the story; newcomers should start with the original.
How to play Amanda the Adventurer 2

- Play each tape and answer Amanda when she speaks to you.
- When she asks for something, get up and search the library for it, or decide not to.
- Use clues from the tapes and the rooms to solve the puzzles that open new areas and new tapes.
