What frightens Mark, a reporter, arrives late to record an event his friend called him about, and finds the friend gone. In a shed of pinned notes and an old computer, he learns his friend had been investigating a possible killer tied to unnatural events and nightmares, and the crime photos, bloodstains and a dark tunnel lead somewhere worse, all seen through a grainy camcorder frame.

Content: crime scene photos, blood.

Tunnel Vision is a short retro point-and-click horror adventure by Alex Olinkiewicz, made in a week for Scream Jam 2025 and inspired by analog and found-footage horror. As a reporter looking for a missing friend, you uncover the investigation he was running into a possible killer tied to unnatural events and nightmares.

About Tunnel Vision

Tunnel Vision was made by Alex Olinkiewicz in one week for Scream Jam 2025, where it placed 13th overall out of 931 entries. It is a free, name-your-own-price Windows download on itch.io, built in Unreal Engine 4.

You are Mark, a reporter. Your friend called about an important event and asked you to record it, but you arrive late and he is nowhere to be found. Everything is seen through a rounded, grainy camcorder frame: a weathered shed with lawn chairs outside, a desk with an old computer and a wall of pinned notes, and a dark place where blood runs down the rock.

It plays as a point-and-click adventure. You click to inspect, read your friend's notes, flick through a set of crime photos from a subway tunnel and elsewhere, and type passwords and combinations into computers and locked boxes. Piece by piece you learn that he was looking into a possible killer connected to unnatural events and nightmares.

It suits players who like found-footage horror and investigation, and a short mystery that ends somewhere dark.
