What frightens David wakes in an island prison inside the simulation he created, a world that has slipped out of his control; its hand-drawn scenes in the style of H. R. Giger and Zdzislaw Beksinski are full of fused bone and machinery, monstrous biomechanical heads, cowled figures and bleak, foggy landscapes, and its people speak of gods who appear and vanish.
Content: disturbing biomechanical imagery, nudity in the artwork.
Tormentum II is a hand-drawn point-and-click horror adventure by OhNoo Studio, with art inspired by H. R. Giger and Zdzislaw Beksinski. David wakes inside the simulation he built and must explore its surreal islands, solve puzzles and decide the fates of its people to find out why his creation no longer obeys him.
About Tormentum II
Tormentum II is a dark point-and-click adventure by OhNoo Studio, released in July 2026 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Its core team of two spent nearly eight years on it, and both also made Tormentum: Dark Sorrow. It is a standalone story, so you do not need to have played the first game.
David is building a simulation inhabited by beings as intelligent as humans. At night he dreams of a locked chest and a woman calling to him. After he installs a mysterious coprocessor, he wakes up in an island prison inside the very world he created, barely remembering how he got there. The simulation has grown beyond his design, and its inhabitants speak of gods who appear and vanish without warning.
You travel between surreal islands, talk to the people who live there and work through puzzles at your own pace. Your decisions determine what happens to the characters you meet, the right choice is rarely obvious, and the story can reach several endings. The makers give 6 to 9 hours of play.
The horror is in the look and the mood. There are 200 hand-drawn scenes, nearly 500 backgrounds with close-ups, drawing on Giger's biomechanical forms and Beksinski's desolate paintings: walls of fused bone and machinery, a giant head of ridged flesh, hooded figures on misty ice and dead fields. The score is dark and atmospheric, with heavier passages influenced by metal.
It suits players who liked Scorn's biomechanical world but want puzzles and conversation instead of combat, or who enjoy dark point-and-click adventures with choices.

Tips
- There are no timed inputs, so take your time to look at each scene; close-ups often hide what you need.
- Listen to what the inhabitants say about the gods and the world; it helps with puzzles and choices.
- The right choice is rarely obvious, so save before big decisions if you want to see other outcomes.
- You can save anytime, which makes trying a different ending easier.
