At Home Alone Final is a free pixel-art horror adventure about a little girl spending the day alone at home while her mother works. What starts as play around the house turns strange as visitors arrive and the day bends out of shape, with several endings to find.

About At Home Alone Final

At Home Alone Final is the free final version of the At Home Alone series, released on Steam on 31 December 2021, credited to the developer 阿正不经 and published by Peanut Bear Studio. It is played in English or Simplified Chinese, and later updates added a new ending branch, more storylines, new character art and improved English translations.

The girl's mother leaves early for work and comes home late, so the girl in the white dress has the empty, quiet house to herself. You decide what to do with the day: sneak into her parents' room, dance on the bed, go out to the backyard and play hide-and-seek with friends, feed the kittens and puppies on the street, share snacks. A boy stands outside the house for no clear reason, a blonde girl walks a Chihuahua, an older brother urgently searches for his little brother, and someone else is marked only with question marks.

The store calls it cute and healing, but it also promises shocking twists, and its notes warn that if strange phenomena happen or the game suddenly quits, that is intended. The screenshots show the pastel rooms giving way to a garden washed in dark red and a puppet fox dangling on strings. Critics describe a cute-looking game that gradually opens into something darker and more ambitious, with four quite different endings reached across several playthroughs.

It suits players who like cute games that are not what they seem, in the line of Doki Doki Literature Club or Paper Lily, and who are happy to replay a short day to see where else it can go.
