About Dress Me Down

Dress Me Down is a tiny horror game by LiminAce, made in four days for Glam Jam 2 with RPG Maker. It plays in the browser on itch.io, and there are Windows and Android downloads; you can pay what you want, including nothing.

Marion has been asked out on a date, and she needs your help to choose what to wear to impress him. You flip through tops, bottoms, stockings, shoes and dresses beside a drawing of her on a soft pink screen covered in hearts, then press Finish. The maker notes that some pieces do not combine well, since dresses do not mix with tops and bottoms.

What comes after is the game. In a short story told in text over character art and three drawn scenes, the date and the relationship behind it come into view, and it is not a happy one. The page jokes that it has totally no toxic relationships or domestic abuse, then lists warnings for exactly that, plus misogyny, murder, strong language, a little gore and uncomfortable scenes with disturbing implications. The maker advises against it for anyone sensitive to psychological horror and disturbing content.
