Haunted Room : 205 is a first-person horror game by Gameloop, released on Steam in August 2025. Its store page calls it a walking simulator with life simulation, horror and thriller elements, built in Unreal Engine 5 around an apartment block full of Asian cultural detail.

You play a young man born with the ability to sense the supernatural. He rents an unusually cheap flat to save money, sure he can share it with the spirits as he always has, and soon finds that what lives in room 205 is far more dangerous than anything he has met before. The story unfolds over a run of sleepless nights.

The play is small and domestic. You open doors, switch on lights, eat, drink and go to bed, and in between you search the flat and the corridor outside for things that should not be there. A sanity meter drops as paranormal events build up, and a sudden scare can empty it at once. Your one tool is to close your eyes at the right moment to make a haunting go away, and food and drink keep your nerves steady.

The store says there are no puzzles, and warns of jump scares and sudden loud sounds. Players single out those scares, the cramped and gloomy apartment and a story that turns in an unexpected direction toward the end. It suits someone who wants a short, scary evening game more than a long survival game.
