On Steam: one of the Steam horror games.

What frightens A little girl falls asleep as usual and finds herself trapped in a dream of a ruined laboratory where terrible experiments once took place. She searches dark, littered corridors, candle-lit rooms and a washroom drawn only in white outlines, while sudden scares and things that make no sense block her way, and the dream starts to point at a real past.

Content: jumpscares (mentioned by players).

Lucid Dream is a free point-and-click horror game by the solo developer sizrit. A little girl is trapped in a dream of a laboratory where terrible experiments took place, and you search for items and solve puzzles to help her wake up.

About Lucid Dream

Lucid Dream is a free point-and-click horror game made and published by sizrit, released on Steam for Windows in May 2020, with English and Korean voice support.

A little girl goes to sleep as she always does but dreams that she is trapped in a strange place: a laboratory where terrible experiments were carried out. She cannot wake up, so she starts to look around. You see the dream in first person, click arrows to move between rooms, and pick up items highlighted under your cursor.

The game is split into episodes that save when you finish them. Each one asks you to search dark rooms, use the right item in the right place and solve puzzles in a maze-like building, while unsettling sights and a few well-timed jumpscares keep you on edge. Comic-style scenes tell the story, and slowly the dream reveals something real about the past.

Players call it short, easy to get into and generous for a free game, with a calm ending after the scares. It suits newcomers to point-and-click horror and fans of escape-room games who want something to finish in under an hour.
