What frightens You are the Navigator of a colossal deep-bore drilling vessel whose crew has vanished; the ship is silent, a Signal will not stop calling, and as you work its gauges and terminals and drill deeper, fragments of your memory surface and your sanity starts to give way.

Content: death, killing, suicide.

MOLE is a first-person psychological horror game with tactile simulation from Off Black Creations. As the Navigator of a deep-bore drilling vessel whose crew has gone, you operate its systems, solve puzzles and dig deeper toward a Signal that keeps calling, as your memories surface and your sanity erodes.

About MOLE

MOLE was made by Off Black Creations and released on Steam in June 2026 by Oro Interactive. Its makers describe it as a psychological horror experience with tactile simulation elements, about madness, faith and the depths we choose to dig.

You are the Navigator aboard a deep-bore vessel, a colossal drilling machine with a cramped cockpit of gauges, dials and amber screens, a message terminal dated 1982 and small crew quarters. But the crew is gone, the vessel is silent, and the Signal won't stop calling.

You keep the vessel alive by working its complex systems by hand, solve diegetic puzzles and try to unravel what happened to the crew. As you descend to impossible depths, fragments of your memory surface with choices that refuse to stay buried, and the screenshots move between the cramped machine and stranger places: a field of flowers by a grave, a white rabbit in a night garden, a body on a floor. Your sanity erodes the deeper you go, and its store page notes that the game depicts death, killing and suicide.

It suits players who like slow, hands-on machine horror such as Iron Lung and stories that turn inward.

How to play MOLE

  1. Buy it on Steam and run it on Windows.
  2. Learn the vessel's controls, gauges and terminals by hand.
  3. Keep the drilling machine running as you descend.
  4. Solve the puzzles you find aboard and read the messages to learn what happened to the crew.
