Survivors of the first game's night at school are now at Fallcreek University, where strange dream-inducing flowers spread across the campus until the nightmare turns real, and a second player can join at any time.

About Obscure II (Obscure: The Aftermath)

Obscure II, also called Obscure: The Aftermath, is the 2007 sequel to Obscure from the French studio Hydravision Entertainment, on Steam since 2014. Two years earlier a group of teenagers were trapped in their school all night, chased by creatures their principal had created. Some survived. Now they have gone to college.

But all is not right at Fallcreek University. Strange flowers suddenly appear all over the campus, containing a substance that brings strange, vivid dreams. A handful of students learn that the flowers are far more dangerous than they look, and when the seeds sprout, the nightmare becomes horrifying reality.

It plays like a teen horror film: six characters, each with their own skills, a range of weapons and terrifying monsters, clues to find and puzzles to solve. A second player can join at any moment and play beside you on the same screen. The score is by Olivier Derivière, performed by the Boston Symphonic Orchestra and the Paris Opera Children's Choir.

It suits players who liked Obscure or who want a co-op survival horror game to play on one sofa.
