Play With Me is a free first-person horror game made by students at the French game school Creajeux. You wake in a mysterious, almost empty house at night and find your way through it on instinct, while someone there insists on being the only one who plays with you.

About Play With Me

Play With Me is a student project from Creajeux, a video game school in France, released free on Game Jolt in 2016 for Windows, with support for the Oculus Rift. Its team was three artists, two developers and a composer, and it was also released on Samsung's Gear VR at the time.

You wake up in a mysterious house that is empty, or almost. The rooms look ordinary in the blue moonlight: a boy's bedroom with a play tent, star decals and a clown drawing on the wall, a chequered bathroom, a laundry room, long dark hallways. The game gives you no guide. You count on your instinct to find your way through the nightmare, and the makers warn not to defy him, the one who is allowed to play with you.

The makers aimed for total immersion, and their page warns that the game contains clowns and jump scares. It suits players who like short haunted-house horror in first person, and anyone with a Rift who wants to try an early VR horror game.
