What frightens An elevator falls with you inside into the basement of a building, and the one who lives down there clearly does not want you there. You have to find a way out of that dark place by flashlight before its resident finds you.

Content: blood.

Wrong Floor is a short first-person horror game by N4bA for Windows, Mac and Linux, pay what you want on itch.io. An elevator drops you into a building's basement, the one who lives there does not like visitors, and you have about 15 minutes of dark corridors to find a way out.

About Wrong Floor

Wrong Floor is a small first-person horror game by N4bA, the maker of From The Darkness, made in Unity and offered on itch.io for Windows, Mac and Linux at a price you choose. It can be played in English or Russian, and the maker puts it at about 15 minutes.

The setup fits in one line: the elevator carrying your character falls all the way to the basement, and whoever lives down there clearly does not like it. What you see is an ordinary apartment block gone wrong: a lit landing with the elevator doors and a staircase, then darker halls, peeling walls, a note pinned to a door and a flashlight beam that only shows a small circle at a time.

You walk, look closely and use what you find, with a run key for when you need it and a flashlight once you have one. The goal is simply to get out of the place alive. The fear is the darkness and the knowledge that you are in someone else's home, and that they know you are there.

It suits players who like short, dark first-person horror they can finish in one sitting, the kind of building-at-night scare found in Elevated Dread or the same maker's From The Darkness. Its 600 ratings on itch.io average 4.5 of 5.
