Evil Nun is a first-person horror escape game by Keplerians, released on the App Store in 2018 and also on Google Play, where it is now called Evil Nun: Horror at School. A mysterious invitation to a summer camp ends with you captured by Sister Madeline and locked inside Eagle's Junior High School, and you have to get out before she completes her plan.

The school is a large map to explore freely: classrooms, corridors, a laundry room and the grounds outside. Escaping means finding items and solving puzzles, some of them mini-games that test your skill, to open one of several escape routes. Secrets around the school, such as a mysterious boy with blue hands, are needed to finish the game completely.

Sister Madeline walks the halls while you work, and each weapon she carries changes how she behaves. You can buy and unlock new weapons, school decorations and skins for her. A Ghost Mode lets you explore without risk, and several difficulty levels make her more dangerous.

The store calls it a game for everyone and recommends headphones. It suits players who liked Granny and want a bigger building with more puzzles and more ways out.

How to play Evil Nun - Horror escape

1. Pick a difficulty, or Ghost Mode to explore the school without Sister Madeline.
2. Search classrooms and corridors for items and clues.
3. Solve the puzzles and mini-games that open the way toward an exit.
4. Keep away from Sister Madeline; if she spots you, run and break her line of sight.
5. Escape by one of the routes, then go back to find the others and the school's secrets.

• Play with headphones, as the game recommends, to hear where she is.
• Use Ghost Mode first to learn the map and where items are.
• Check which weapon the nun carries; it changes how she acts.
