Goliath The Soothsayer is a free point-and-click horror game by Ben Leffler, the maker of Exmortis, made in 2008 with The Mars Volta and still playable on Newgrounds. You wake locked in the attic of your missing brother's house, held by a malevolent force, and have to find out what happened to him.

About Goliath The Soothsayer

Goliath The Soothsayer was made by Ben Leffler of LefflerWebDesign, the maker of Exmortis, together with Universal Records and Rodriguez Lopez Productions, and released on Newgrounds in early 2008, where it won Daily Feature. It is based on what the band The Mars Volta told as a true story from the making of their album The Bedlam in Goliath. Newgrounds still runs it in the browser for free.

Your brother has disappeared, and you have been appointed to look after his estate. From the moment you enter his house, strange, inexplicable things begin to happen. Then one morning you wake up locked in the attic, held captive by a malevolent force.

It plays in the first-person point-and-click style of Exmortis: you look around still scenes, click on what you find and solve your way through the house while the story of your brother's disappearance comes together. The goal is to escape the fate that befell him months earlier.

It suits players who liked Exmortis and anyone who likes a supernatural mystery told through a house and its secrets.
