Home Sweet Home EP2 is the first-person Thai horror sequel to Home Sweet Home, by YGGDRAZIL GROUP. Tim wakes in a mysterious forest, still looking for his missing wife, and is hunted by possessed villagers and an invisible dancer as he solves the puzzles that lead to her.

About Home Sweet Home EP2

Home Sweet Home EP2 is the second episode of the Thai horror series by YGGDRAZIL GROUP, released on Steam in September 2019, with the second half of the game added as a free update that Halloween. It is played in first person and in English, Thai or Simplified Chinese.

Since his wife disappeared, Tim has searched for her without getting closer to the truth. He wakes in a mysterious forest that seems to call him in, and is set upon by villagers possessed by an evil spirit and by a Thai dancer he cannot see. The places are drawn from Thai culture and the story from Thai myths and folklore: temple gates in the dark, rows of stupas lit by candles, wooden houses with blood on the floor.

The first game was about hiding. This one lets Tim fight back for the first time, with weapons, and the makers describe each encounter as a mix of stealth and combat, often against several enemies at once. Between them you solve investigation puzzles that unlock more of the story.

It suits players who finished Home Sweet Home and want its story to go on, and anyone looking for horror rooted in Southeast Asian folklore.
