What frightens Inspired by I'm Scared: you are trapped in a dim, blood-spattered hospital and must find the keys that unlock its doors to escape, past walls scrawled with 'HES WATCHING' and pleas for help.

Content: blood.

I See You is a short, free first-person horror game from 2013. You are trapped in a dark hospital and have to find the keys that open its doors and get out, while the walls tell you that someone is watching. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

About I See You

I See You was made in 2013 by CatOverlord and first released on Game Jolt, where it gathered thousands of followers; it is now also on itch.io under the maker's Unseeing Eyes page. The maker says it was inspired by I'm Scared. The soundtrack is by ManixZero and the voice by Amtrax.

The setup is simple: a person finds themself trapped in a hospital. You walk its dim wards and corridors in first person, among empty beds and IV stands, looking for the keys that unlock the doors between you and the exit. The rooms are drawn in blocky, low-resolution 3D, grey and quiet, with blood pooled on the floor and splashed on the walls.

The fear is in being watched. One wall is covered in scrawled eyes and the words HES WATCHING, PLEASE HELP and LEAVE, with a bloody handprint beside them, and the title tells you the rest. The maker gives an average play time of about 15 to 20 minutes, so it is one sitting in the dark.

It suits players who like short, free, low-poly horror from the Game Jolt era, and anyone who played I'm Scared.
