What frightens You work the night shift alone in a small rain-soaked fast food kiosk after the last worker vanished, cooking for late-night customers who come to the window out of the dark. As the night goes on, strange things start to happen, and what the customers let slip points to what became of the man before you.

Kiosk is a first-person horror cooking game by Vivi. You take the night shift at a small fast food kiosk whose last worker vanished, chopping, grilling and serving late-night customers while strange events begin and their clues point to the truth.

About Kiosk

Kiosk is a horror cooking game by the solo developer Vivi, released on Steam in January 2025 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Feardemic published it on PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch in November 2025, and there is also an Android version by the same developer.

You play a night shift worker at a small fast food kiosk. Your predecessor disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and nobody wants to say much about it. The job itself is simple: customers come to the window, you cut ingredients with your knife, cook them on the grill, pour soda and beer, and make coffee on the machine, then hand the order over.

The horror comes from the night around the work. The kiosk is dim and the rain does not stop, the customers who turn up are odd, and as the shifts go on strange events begin to unfold. Listening carefully to what customers say is how you piece together what happened to the man who worked there before you.

There are three modes: Story, the main horror game; Endless, with a leaderboard; and Relax, for cooking at your own pace. It suits players who like quiet job-simulator horror, where the tension builds from routine, more than chases and fights.

How to play Kiosk

  1. Start Story mode and take your place behind the kiosk window.
  2. When a customer orders, chop the ingredients with your knife and cook them on the grill.
  3. Add drinks or coffee as asked and hand the order through the window.
  4. Listen to what each customer says; their clues tell you what happened to the last worker.
  5. Keep working through the shifts as strange events build toward the truth.

Tips

  • Read each order carefully before you start cooking, so you do not have to start again.
  • Pay attention to dialogue rather than rushing customers away; the story lives in what they say.
  • Try Relax mode first if you want to learn the kitchen without pressure.
  • Endless mode is for practice and the leaderboard, not the story.
