You find the laptop of Lily, a dramatic, awkward teenager in 2004, and the whole game takes place on its desktop: an email client, a web browser, a messenger, a photo gallery, a journal, an audio player and a little maze game.

At first it is a slow, nosy look through a stranger's life. You read her cringey blog, customize its background, scroll through old conversations with her friends and look at selfies. The store says all the in-game photos come from the developer's and her friends' own teenage years, and Lily is voiced by LilyPichu. The early web is rebuilt in detail, with sparkly icons, chat handles and pastel windows.

The horror arrives through the computer. Lily was hiding something, and other people do not want you to find her. Messages appear that are addressed to you, not to Lily, the screen glitches and breaks apart, and windows fill the screen without being asked. The store warns that even your own computer is not safe from intrusion.
