Content: flashing lights, gore, violence, frequent scary imagery.

Paranoia Place: Escape Together is a first-person co-op survival horror game for one to four players. You search a dark, nightmare-like map for hidden keys and items and solve puzzles to escape, while a demonic killer that gets faster as the game goes on hunts you down.

About Paranoia Place: Escape Together

Paranoia Place: Escape Together is a co-op horror game by Bloody Pixel Games, released on Steam in April 2025. Its makers built it around the idea of being thrown into the world: you start isolated and lost inside a nightmare place and have to find a way out, alone or with up to three friends.

Every match is different, since keys and collectable items spawn in new places each time. You explore large, dark locations such as root-choked caves, a ruined house with an old piano and stone halls lined with statues, solve puzzles, and carry what you find to the way out. A dynamic map shows where you dropped items, which matters when a teammate has to pick up what you left behind.

The fear comes from the killer, a bloodthirsty demonic creature with an unpredictable AI that grows faster and angrier as the match goes on. You cannot fight it. You hide, run and listen, and a camera gives you a chance to protect yourself. Proximity voice chat and 3D sound mean you hear friends nearby, and hear it too. There are four difficulties, from Simplified to Insane.

The store warns of flashing lights, and Steam lists gore, violence and frequent scary imagery. It suits groups who liked Granny's hide-and-search loop or PANICORE's escape from a monster that hears you, and want it with friends on PC.

How to play Paranoia Place: Escape Together

  1. Start a match alone or with up to three friends online, and pick a difficulty from Simplified to Insane.
  2. Explore the map for keys and collectable items; they spawn in different places each game.
  3. Solve the puzzles that block the way and use the map to see where items were dropped.
  4. When the demonic killer comes, hide or run, and use the camera to protect yourself if you must.
  5. Bring everything needed to the exit and escape before the killer catches you.

Tips

  • Split up to search faster, but keep in voice range so you can warn each other.
  • Mark where you drop items; the map shows them, and a teammate may need them.
  • Expect the killer to speed up later in a match, so grab key items early.
  • Note good hiding places as you search, so you know where to go when the killer comes.
