About Eyes - The Horror Game

Eyes - The Horror Game is a first-person horror game from the Polish studio Fearless Games, released on the App Store in 2013 under its maker Paulina Pabis's name, later on Google Play, and on Steam in May 2024. Each round drops you into a dark building with one task: collect the bags of money hidden around it and find the way out.

Something lives there with you. The monsters include the revenge-seeking Krasue, the demon Charlie, Good Boy and Ursula, and each hunts in its own way. You cannot fight back. You listen for it, watch for signs that it is close, hide or run, and plan routes on your map. Eye runes painted on the walls let you look through the monster's eyes for a moment and see where it is.

The levels are a haunted mansion, an abandoned hospital and a deserted school. Notes and objects hidden in them tell the story of a cursed family and a thief and connect the three places. The rooms change from game to game, there are several modes and an endless mode where the monsters get stronger, and you can design a monster of your own from your own pictures and sounds.

On mobile you can play alone and offline, with friends in online co-op, or against others in Versus mode. Some content is locked and opened with coins earned in play or by watching ads, or by buying it. It suits players who like short, tense rounds of hide and seek that they can play again and again.

How to play Eyes - The Horror Game

Pick a level and a monster, then a difficulty, and start the round.
Search the rooms for bags of money; the counter at the top shows how many you have and need.
Use the map to plan your route and listen for the monster coming.
Collect Eye runes and use them to see through the monster's eyes when you need to know where it is.
When it chases you, run or hide, and leave by the exit once you have the money.

Tips

Learn each level's layout in an easier mode before trying harder ones.
Use an Eye rune before crossing open rooms rather than after you hear the monster.
Keep moving during a chase; standing still in the open gets you caught.
Read the notes you find to follow the story between levels.
