Content: suicide themes, blood.

Shadow Corridor 2 is the sequel to Space Onigiri Game's randomly generated Japanese horror game. Following a girl named Shigure, you search pitch-black, ever-changing corridors for an escape while Apparitions hunt you; you cannot fight them, only run or hide.

About Shadow Corridor 2 雨ノ四葩

Shadow Corridor 2 雨ノ四葩 is a first-person horror game by Space Onigiri Game, released on Steam in March 2024, on Nintendo Switch in October 2024 and on PS5 in February 2026. It follows Shadow Corridor with a new story, and the store says you can enjoy it without having played the first game.

This time the story belongs to a girl named Shigure, who meant to end her own life. You learn the rest of her story as you search vast corridors covered in darkness that change with every play. There is no one right way forward: you make your way to the goal by dealing with whatever the map throws at you.

The store lists more randomly generated dungeons than the first game, a larger and stranger set of items, and a new Karuta system: cards you collect that give special effects, so you can build your own way of playing. The new Apparitions are stronger than before, and against them all you can do is run or hide.

It offers a wider range of difficulties than the first game. The easier settings are meant to let players who are not good at games reach the ending, and the harder ones are built for those who want a grimmer run. It suits players of the first game and anyone who likes stalker horror where the map is never the same twice.

How to play Shadow Corridor 2 雨ノ四葩

  1. Buy it on Steam for Windows, on the Nintendo eShop for Switch, or on the PlayStation Store for PS5.
  2. Pick a difficulty; the easier ones are made to let you reach the ending.
  3. Explore the corridors, which are generated anew on each play.
  4. Collect items and Karuta cards and combine the cards' effects to suit how you play.
  5. Run or hide when an Apparition finds you, and keep searching for the way out.

Tips

  • Try different Karuta card combinations; the store pitches them as the way to build your own playstyle.
  • Keep useful items for when an Apparition is close, since running and hiding are your only defence.
  • If the game is too hard, lower the difficulty: the store says the easier settings are meant to get anyone to the ending.
