What frightens You drive at night to a Halloween party your friends are throwing at a remote farm with a dark local legend, and someone is already watching. You get to dance, drink and set off firecrackers under the Halloween sky before it turns into a slasher film: blood, a killer in the dark and a night of running through cornfields, barns and a lonely gas station, fighting back to make it to morning.

Content: gore, violence.

A first-person slasher horror game inspired by 1990s horror films. You arrive at a Halloween party at a remote farm with a grim legend, and the celebration turns into a night of running, hiding and fighting a killer through cornfields and barns.

About The Scarlet Harvest

The Scarlet Harvest is a horror game by the solo developer TonyDevGame, published by indie.io and released on Steam for Windows on 23 October 2025. Players who know the same maker's Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets will recognise its campy tone.

It opens on a dark road at night. You are heading to a Halloween party your friends have organised at a remote farm, the kind of place with a legend stained with despair, and someone is watching you from a distance. The first stretch lets you live the party: the farmhouse is lit with string lights, skeletons and grinning pumpkins, and you can dance, grab a beer, talk to your friends and set off firecrackers.

Then it turns into a 1990s slasher film. The store page promises a silent gas station in the woods, sinister cornfields, ramshackle barns and a farm with more than one terrible secret, and once the horror starts there is no standing still: you run, fight back and try to survive the night while not everyone makes it to morning. A blood-red moon over the corn sets the mood.

It has moments of gore and violence like the films it borrows from, and reviewers enjoy its deliberately cheesy dialogue. It suits players who want a slasher story for Halloween night more than a hard survival game.
