What frightens You are a psychiatric patient shut in a small house, and someone keeps knocking. Before you open the door you must decide whether the room and the visitor are real or a hallucination: a dark green corridor with a figure standing in it, a room bathed in red, faces that are not quite human.
Content: blood, violence, disturbing imagery, disturbing sound.
Who's at the door? is a short first-person psychological horror game by SKONEC Entertainment. You are a patient with psychosis and no memory, trapped in a small house for eight days, and each time a visitor comes you must tell reality from hallucination before you open the door for your medication.
About Who's at the door?
Who's at the door? is a short psychological horror game from SKONEC Entertainment, released on Steam in July 2025 and later on PlayStation and Switch. The makers say it was inspired by surreal games like The Exit 8, and it borrows the same habit of making you study a familiar place for anything wrong.
You play a psychiatric patient who has lost their memory and lives with hallucinations. The headaches are getting worse, and the hallucinations no longer fade on their own. To get better you need your medication, which arrives with the visitors who come to the door. The rule is simple: if the hallucinations are gone, it is safe to open the door and take the medicine from the visitor; if they are still there, take the medicine by the door instead. You follow this routine for eight days.
The tension is in that judgement. The house is an old, wood-panelled home with a fish tank, a television and a tiled bathroom, and on a bad day it is not the same house: a corridor turns green and stretches away, a room glows red, and the face at the door may not belong to a person. Opening the door at the wrong moment is a mistake.
The game is built to be replayed. Hidden doll pieces are scattered through each run, three main endings wait at the end, and collecting every piece unlocks a true final ending. The makers warn of blood, violence, depictions of psychological distress and disturbing images and sound.
It suits players who liked The Exit 8 or I'm on Observation Duty and want something shorter and more personal, built around one room and one question.
How to play Who's at the door?
- Walk through the house and get to know how each room should look.
- When someone comes to the door, look around carefully for anything that seems wrong.
- If the hallucinations have stopped, open the door and take your medication from the visitor.
- If they are still there, take the medicine by the door without opening it.
- Repeat the routine for eight days, and replay to find the hidden doll pieces and other endings.

Tips
- Take a slow look at every room on the first day, so changes stand out later.
- Watch for colour and lighting, not just objects; some hallucinations change the whole room.
- Keep an eye out for doll pieces on every run, since they lead to the true ending.
