About Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition
Yuppie Psycho is a horror adventure by Baroque Decay, first released in 2019; the Executive Edition, now given to every owner, adds new areas, new bosses and hours of new content. It is set in a dystopian society of the 1990s.
Brian Pasternack, a young man with no prospects, lands a job at Sintracorp, one of the largest companies in the world. During a very odd orientation he learns what the job really is: hunting a witch whose powers made the corporation's success possible and who has come back to torment its employees. The tower is full of strange coworkers with sordid secrets and creatures you must get away from.
You ride the elevator between floors, talk to colleagues, find clues and solve riddles, and use different lights to see what waits in the dark, all without letting the Witch catch you. The pixel art and office satire make many scenes funny, but the game turns to gore and distress without warning, and your choices decide how it ends. It suits players who like story-led 2D horror with a dark sense of humour.
