Not on iPhone or Android. CAPTURED is on Steam, PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It is not in the Mobile part of the site you came from.
What frightens You are trapped in what seems an endless hallway in your own late-90s home, in complete darkness, and leaving the house only puts you back in it. You zoom in with a camcorder on anything that has changed and classify it, and a miss wipes the camera's memory; meanwhile three monsters roam the loop, and lingering too long gives your position away.
CAPTURED is a first-person analog horror game in which your late-90s home loops into an endless, dark hallway. You film anomalies with a camcorder, classify them and must capture 13 correctly to escape, while three monsters hunt you through the changing rooms.
About CAPTURED
CAPTURED is an anomaly-hunting horror game by Puck Games, released on Steam in October 2024 and brought to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S by Perp Games in 2025. The store calls it an analog horror game, and everything is seen through a camcorder with a VHS look, a timestamp and a battery meter.
You are stuck in what seems to be an endless hallway in your own home. The hallway is procedurally generated and the rooms keep changing. Leaving the house only brings you back into the same hallway, and the lights are out, so the place you knew grows stranger with every room.
To break the loop you use your memory. Zoom in with the camera on anything that has changed and pick its type: object, electronic, lighting, water, missing room or deformed room. Miss an anomaly in a loop or name it wrongly and the camera's memory is wiped. Capture 13 correctly and you escape.
You are not alone. Three monsters roam the hallway, each with its own traits. Staying quiet can help, but staying too long in one loop gives away where you are, and you have to use your flashlight, camera and the doors to survive each of them.
It suits players who liked The Exit 8 or the Observation Duty games and want the same spot-the-difference dread with monsters added. Its realistic rooms under a grainy camcorder image feel like found footage of a house at night.
How to play CAPTURED
- Walk the dark hallway of your home in first person with your flashlight.
- When something looks different from before, zoom in on it with the camcorder.
- Choose the anomaly type: object, electronic, lighting, water, missing room or deformed room.
- Avoid missing or misnaming an anomaly in a loop, or the camera's memory is wiped.
- Use the flashlight, camera and doors to deal with each of the three monsters, and do not stay in one loop too long.
- Capture 13 anomalies correctly to escape.

Tips
- Learn the rooms on your first loops; you can only spot changes in a place you remember.
- Pick the anomaly type with care, since a wrong label costs as much as a miss.
- Keep moving; lingering in one loop gives away your position.
- Each monster works differently, so watch how each one behaves before deciding how to deal with it.
