You play Conrad, an overly chill paranormal investigator who has just bought an office in his hometown of New Eidolon and hopes to make a living from his craft.

The maker set out to make ghost hunting feel authentic, and the game rewards patience and method. You gear up with the kinds of tools real investigators use and explore each location slowly, gathering evidence of paranormal activity. Every place has a past and several ghosts haunting it. To close a case you need enough evidence to satisfy the owner, and you must learn who each ghost was and why it stays, then use trigger items to bring it closure. When the trouble is a demon, Conrad exorcises it instead.

A case does not have to be solved in one night. You can wrap up and return to the office at any time, and some first visits turn up little. Each finished case leaves a relic for the haunted museum in Conrad's office, and as you finish investigations, more clients call for help.
