What frightens Your crew rides a diving bell into the Old World, a dark ruin full of physics-animated monsters and cursed relics, and the only way to earn anything is to get close enough to film them. The camera has limited film, the air runs out, and whoever holds it often records a friend being dragged away.
Content: online voice chat, monsters attacking players.
A co-op horror game for up to four players from the Landfall team. You dive into a dark underground ruin with a handheld video camera, film as many frightening things as you can before your oxygen or your friends run out, and upload the footage to SpookTube for views.
About Content Warning
Content Warning is a co-op horror game made by a small team at Landfall, released on Steam on 1 April 2024 and on PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in April 2026, with cross-play between all of them. You and up to three friends are would-be online stars who want to get famous on SpookTube by filming scary things.
Each day starts in a sunny house on the surface, where you buy gear and pick your ASCII face. Then the crew climbs into a diving bell and goes down to the Old World, a dark industrial ruin of corridors, machines and pits. You have one camera with limited film, a few flashlights and a fixed supply of oxygen. Whatever you film down there is all you have to show for the day.
The Old World is full of monsters with their own habits, animated with physics so they stumble, grab and fling, along with cursed relics that do strange things. The bigger the scare you catch on tape, the more views it gets, so the game keeps pushing you toward the thing you should be running from. If you survive, you ride the bell back up, upload the video and watch it together while the view counter ticks up.
A run lasts three in-game days, and you need enough views by the end to keep your career going. Ad money buys better cameras, medical gear, props and emotes, and sponsorship deals give you extra goals. It is as much a comedy as a horror game: much of the footage ends up being friends screaming, falling over or being carried off, and the watch party is where you see it.
It suits groups of friends who enjoy games like Lethal Company, where the laughs and the scares come together. It can be played alone, but it is built around a crew with voice chat.
How to play Content Warning

- Upload your footage to SpookTube, watch it with the crew and spend the ad money on better gear.

Tips
- Decide who holds the camera; one steady camera operator gets better footage than four people panicking.
- Film your friends reacting to monsters; the scare is often what earns the views.
- Watch the oxygen meter and head back early rather than losing the whole day's footage.
- Use the sponsorship deals to earn extra money for upgrades.
