Not on PlayStation. Endless Nightmare 1: Home is on iPhone and Android. It is not in the PlayStation part of the site you came from.

What frightens A police officer searches the house where his wife and daughter were murdered while a long-haired ghostly woman in a bloodied white dress roams it; she makes noise as she comes, and you hide in closets and under beds or stun her with a taser you assemble.

Content: jumpscares, blood, murder.

Endless Nightmare 1: Home is a first-person mobile horror game. As James, a police officer whose wife and daughter were murdered, you search the family house for keys and clues while a ghostly woman hunts you, hiding from her or stopping her for a while with a taser.

About Endless Nightmare 1: Home

Endless Nightmare is a series of first-person horror games for phones by 707 Interactive, a studio in Hong Kong. This first chapter came out in 2020 and is called Endless Nightmare 1: Home on Google Play and Endless Nightmare: Escape on the App Store. On Google Play it has more than ten million downloads.

You play James Douglas, a police officer. His wife Lisa and daughter Aimee were killed at home on Aimee's birthday, and he goes back into the house to find out who did it. The cake is still on the table and HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIMEE is written on the wall. Something else is in the house now: a woman with long black hair and a bloodied white dress who walks the halls.

Play is close to Granny's formula. You explore rooms, find your police card and badge, keys and clues, and open the house one locked door at a time. The woman makes sounds as she approaches, so you listen; if she sees you, you run and hide in a closet or under a bed or table, and you can break a vase or cup to draw her away. Collect the parts of a taser and you can stun her for a while. There are several difficulty levels and modes.

It is free with ads on Android; on iPhone it costs a small price, and a subscription removes ads and unlocks harder modes. It suits players who like Granny and Evil Nun and want the same hide-and-seek with a murder story behind it.

How to play Endless Nightmare 1: Home

  1. Explore the house and pick up your police card, badge, keys and clues.
  2. Listen for the woman: she makes noise as she gets close.
  3. If she spots you, run into a room and hide in a closet or under a bed or table.
  4. Break vases or cups to lure her to one side of the house while you search the other.
  5. Assemble the taser from its parts to stun her when hiding is not enough.
  6. Work out who the murderer is and find the way out of the house.

Tips

  • Learn the layout of the ground floor first, so you know where to hide when she appears.
  • Close the distance to a hiding place before you open a noisy door.
  • Save the taser for moments when you are cornered.
