Content: abuse, sickness, death.

MOTHERED is a first-person horror adventure by ENIGMA STUDIO with point-and-click mechanics. You play Liana, a young girl back home after major surgery, who finds a mannequin claiming to be her mother and lives seven uneasy days with it in a home that is familiar and wrong.

About MOTHERED - A Role-Playing Horror Game

MOTHERED - A Role-Playing Horror Game is a first-person horror adventure by ENIGMA STUDIO, released on Steam on Christmas Eve 2021. It uses point-and-click mechanics in a home that is familiar yet eerily unnatural.

You play Liana, a young girl who has come home to stay with her mother after major surgery. When she arrives, all she finds is a strange mannequin that claims to be her mother. By talking with it, you discover more about the role you play in this world, and whether you can help Mother go back to how things were or will repeat past mistakes.

The story unfolds over seven days, each split into morning, afternoon, evening and night, and the game uses the uncanny to keep you guessing until the credits. Everything is seen through a worn VHS-style filter, with captions for each part of the day.

The store warns of sickness, abuse and death. It suits players who like slow, unsettling domestic horror that works through a relationship rather than chases.
