Not on Linux. Timore is on Steam, PC and Mac. It is not in the Linux part of the site you came from.
What frightens You search dark places for keys to open doors and run from enemies, and a wrong turn can leave you facing your fate (maker's text); grinning, blood-smeared mannequins and a tall figure in red wait in the dark, and the maker's remake describes creatures always stalking you and mannequins appearing out of nowhere, constantly looking at you.
Content: blood, gore, loud sounds, flashing lights.
Timore is a free 2014 first-person horror game by Vidas Salavejus, the first of his Timore series. You search for keys and open doors in the dark while grinning mannequins and other enemies wait, and a wrong choice of path can be the end of you.
About Timore
Timore is the game that began Vidas Salavejus's run of Timore horror games. He made it in Unity 4 and released it free on Game Jolt in 2014, where its version 2.2 is still downloadable for Windows and Mac.
In his words, it is a game where you search for keys and open doors and run away from enemies, and where sometimes you choose the wrong way and just have to face your fate. Its art shows what is waiting: bald mannequins with blackened eyes and bloody grins standing on poles, and a tall pale-faced figure in a long red coat, all half lost in the dark.
In 2022 the maker released TIMORE REMAKE free on Steam, rebuilt with new places and reworked scares. Its store page describes mannequins appearing out of nowhere and constantly looking at you, strange creatures always stalking you, an inventory of items that open new areas, and a world that keeps adding horrors. The remake's store warns of blood, gore, loud sounds and flashing lights. The series continued with Timore 5, Timore 6 and others on Steam.
Timore is small and simple by today's standards. It suits players curious about early free Game Jolt horror and about where Nox Timore and the later Timore games came from.
How to play Timore

- Unpack the archive and start the game.
- Explore in first person and look for keys.
- Use each key to open the next door, and run when an enemy comes for you.
- Choose your path with care; the maker warns that a wrong way can end the game.

Tips
- Remember which doors were locked so you know where a new key goes.
- When you are chased, head back along a route you know.
- Watch the mannequins; in this series they do not always stay where they were.
- Write to the maker's address on the Game Jolt page if the game does not run; he asks for bug reports there.
