Mama's Sleeping Angels is a 1 to 4 player co-op horror game by itamu, set in Y2K-styled dreamworlds. Trapped in the dreams of a hungry goddess called Mama, you explore procedurally generated worlds, analyse curses with a flip phone, fight gory monsters and bring back cursed objects to pay your way out.

About Mama's Sleeping Angels

Mama's Sleeping Angels is a co-op dream-exploration horror game by the developer itamu, published by Oro Interactive and released on Steam in March 2026. You can play alone or with up to three friends online.

During a sleepover you find yourself deep inside the dream of a goddess, the eternally hungry Mama. Your imaginary friends are trapped there in eternal sleep, twelve of them to find and wake. The price of leaving is simple: return with the cursed objects you gathered, or with your life.

Each run takes you into one of six kinds of procedurally generated dreamworld, from icy ruins and a wooden shack to padded white rooms and a brick hall lit red. Monsters wait in them: a grinning lumpy figure and a gaping mouth in a wall. You fight with sniper rifles, FAMAS rifles and chainsaws, wear masks that permanently change your abilities, and use a handy flip phone to analyse cursed objects that can double your jump, heal teammates or turn against you. Back in the safety of the house, a computer room records what you have learned about each life form, curse and item.

The look is deliberately bizarre, all glitch art, grainy textures and early-2000s fashion, and Steam players compare its loop to Lethal Company's quota runs. The store notes cartoonishly gruesome deaths and gory monsters. It suits groups who liked Lethal Company or Content Warning and want something stranger.

How to play Mama's Sleeping Angels

Start a session alone or invite up to three friends.
Enter one of Mama's dreamworlds from the house.
Explore, find cursed objects and analyse them with your flip phone.
Fight or avoid the monsters with your weapons and masks.
Return to the house with the cursed objects to feed Mama, and check the computer room for what you have learned.

Tips
